Artist SS99B Desert Burst Electric Guitar w/ Hand Made Pickups

For the hellraisers and blues breakers alike, the Artist SS99B might look like your typical shredder's dream, but don't let that fool you... This pointy beast suits a tube amp on the edge of break up just as well! With a stunning burl veneer top and matching headstock, finished in a gorgeous desert burst, the SS99B is a premium instrument in both fit and finish. Along a rosewood fretboard, 24 stainless steel frets are marked by striking 'shark-tooth' abalone inlays, while an ultra-thin satin maple neck ensures this guitar stays out of the way as you shred your way up and down two octaves.

High-grade, matte black Der Jung locking tuners, a 43mm true bone nut, and premium brass saddles keep the SS99B in perfect tune, making string changes an absolute breeze while ensuring every point of string contact works in harmony for maximum sustain and tuning stability, even when pushing the trem arm further than your traditional floating bridge. As with a number of our higher-end guitars, this one features a set of high-end, hand-made pickups wound by the Laohao workshop - a small team producing low-quantity batches of custom pickups to a frankly unbelievable standard. These produce a clear, bell-like high-end and throaty mid-range with plenty of bite, compressing beautifully to produce rich harmonic distortion tones when pushed.

Each Artist SS99B features full copper shielding to ensure ground noise is kept to an absolute minimum. With a HSH configuration, the SS99B is immensely versatile; despite its modern aesthetic, this one sounds just as brilliant in a jazz club as it does pumping out metal riffs through your favourite amp modelers. Who said moving forward meant you couldn't look back every once in a while?
